IDENTITY

The Muhammadiyah University of Mataram (UMMAT) has a pentagon-shaped emblem with a green background. Inside it, there is the inscription
“Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram,” along with images of rice and cotton, and the “Muhammadiyah” symbol, which has the following meanings:

: In accordance with the spirit of the five pillars of Islam and the five principles of Pancasila.

: Symbol of peace.

: Striving for the welfare of the Nation and State

: A sun with twelve main rays, with “Muhammadiyah” written in Arabic in the center, surrounded by the Shahada phrase “Asyhadu an la illaha illa Allah wa asyhadu anna Muhammadan Rasul Allah” (written in Arabic).
