Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram (UMMAT) has reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian service by forging a strategic collaboration with Islamic Relief. The Orphan Camp Inspire 2024<\/strong> program, held from September 17 to 23, 2024<\/strong>, at the UMMAT campus, is one of the key initiatives aimed at enhancing various humanitarian service projects while paving the way for further collaboration on global strategic issues, especially in the West Nusa Tenggara Province (23\/09\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. TGH. Zaenudin, M.Pd.I,<\/strong> explained that this program provides support to vulnerable communities, including orphans, as well as improving access to education, healthcare, and local economic development. “By leveraging the expertise and international network of Islamic Relief, UMMAT hopes that each initiative carried out will have a broader and more significant impact,” said Dr. Zaenudin with enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UMMAT Rector, Drs. Abdul Wahab, MA,<\/strong> also welcomed this collaboration and emphasized the importance of synergy with global partners in addressing increasingly complex humanitarian challenges. “This collaboration is not just a manifestation of our social responsibility but also a concrete step in providing real solutions to community needs. With support from Islamic Relief, I am confident that UMMAT\u2019s humanitarian service programs will expand further and have a more substantial impact,” said Rector Abdul Wahab with a wise smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Head of UMMAT\u2019s International Affairs Office<\/strong> added that, moving forward, UMMAT will continue to invite international partners to engage in the West Nusa Tenggara region as part of the strategy to expand its global network. “We can no longer stand alone in facing the increasingly complex challenges of the world. We must race to collaborate in finding solutions to issues at the local, regional, and global levels. And UMMAT is committed to being at the forefront of these efforts,” he stated with optimism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration affirms UMMAT’s position as an institution not only focused on academic pursuits but also actively contributing to sustainable and inclusive development at both local and global levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his meeting with UMMAT\u2019s Rector and team, Dr. Hany El-Banna<\/strong>, founder of Islamic Relief, expressed deep appreciation for UMMAT’s support in the success of Islamic Relief’s programs. “In the future, insyaAllah, we will continue this partnership with even larger programs to strengthen the future of our next generation,” he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
