Kegiatan yang berlangsung di Auditoriun H. Ag. M.Pd.I, membuka kegiatan dalam sambutannya mengatakan, menggelar Kuliah Dosen Tamu Internasional merupakan kegiatan yang diadakan oleh FAI UMMAT dengan menghadirkan dosen dari Universitas Al-Azhar Mesir sebagai pemateri. Adapun kegiatan ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa 3 prodi dari FAI yaitu Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA), Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiah (PGMI) dan Komunikasi Penyiaran Islam (KPI).<br>\u201cMelibatkan Prodi PBA dan PGMI karena kuliah ini terdapat pendidikan dalam berbahasa arab dan jika untuk KPI kuliah ini terdapat ilmu dakwah yang dapat didapatkan dan diaplikasikan. Mahasiswa PBA khususnya harus bisa berbicara menggunakan bahasa arab dengan baik dan benar,\u201d ujarnya.<br>Syaikh Ahmad Faruq Ibnu Husain Iwadullah, dalam kuliahnya mengatakan Bahasa Arab adalah bahasa yang memiliki banyak kelebihan, bahasa yang mudah dipelajari, kaya akan kosakata dan digunakan sehari hari oleh setiap umat Islam minimal dalam ibadah.<br>\u201cSekarang sudah gampang belajar bahasa arab, kita tinggal duduk di rumah dan bisa belajar guru-guru dari seluruh belahan dunia dan ini hal yang baik. Selain itu salah satu tujuan musuh islam adalah, membinasakan Bahasa Arab, jangan sampai anak anak muslim mengucapkan satu kata pun dari Bahasa Arab, jangan biarkan mereka bisa membaca Alquran. Oleh karena itu, kuliah ini adalah misi kita untuk melestarikan bahasa arab,\u201d imbuhnya.<br>Intisari materi yang disampaikan dalam kuliah internasional ini antara lain tentang pentingnya Bahasa Arab, sebab muslim beribadah menggunakan Bahasa Arab. Selain itu Bahasa Arab merupakan bahasa Alquran serta pentingnya orang tua untuk mendidik anaknya untuk belajar Bahasa Arab.
